This launch summary reflects the approved technical data boundaries. Formal legal approval remains required before production deployment.

No Chowder customer login

Standard requires no account or licence. The launch website does not create customer passwords, MFA secrets, sessions, organisation memberships, invoices or payment-card records. Paddle independently handles Pro checkout, tax and receipts under its own privacy terms. Clarity Soft separately operates activation-code delivery and recovery.

Pro operational records

After verifying a Paddle event, Clarity Soft keeps only a minimized normalized event, opaque commerce references, offer and eligibility state, relevant period dates and a bounded delivery contact when required. We do not retain raw webhook bodies, signatures, card details, invoice bodies or plaintext activation codes.

Enterprise applications

An application may contain the applicant's name, business email, organisation, optional telephone, selected use case, requirements, consent time, delivery state and an opaque reference. Do not submit passwords, payment details, malware samples or NAS credentials.

Local scan data

Scans run on the customer's device using ClamAV. File names, file contents, malware samples, scan history, exclusions and quarantine are not sent to the marketing platform.

Cookies and Paddle checkout

Chowder's launch website has no customer login and does not use an advertising cookie to create a customer profile. Essential security and delivery cookies may be used by the website infrastructure. When you open Pro checkout, Paddle may set cookies and process checkout information under its own privacy and cookie terms. The checkout overlay is Paddle-hosted even when it appears over this page.

Retention

Purpose-scoped commerce-event, replay-marker, licensing and delivery retention will be fixed only after legal review of the minimized Paddle/Clarity data model. Encrypted activation-code delivery material is purged after confirmed delivery or bounded expiry. Operational backups must reapply approved deletions after restoration.
